Copper standing seam roofing "shingles" in traditional 17 inch X 16oz. material                   For overseas and orders west of the Mississippi these panels are the most economical to handle and ship!   Copper standing seam shingles function the same as common standing seam metal roofing, but offer installation advantages. Each shingle panel interlocks with other shingles top and bottom in order to span long distances of the roof surface. Shingles cut down the length of each panel offering ease of installation, transportation, and on-the-job storage.One man installations are now possible!   ◊For pitches of 3/12 to 6/12 the shingles will lap 4 inches at the transverse seam. A cleat is soldered atop each unit to receive the bottom of the next shingle.  ◊For pitches greater than 6/12 the shingle will lap 2 inches at the transverse seam. The top of the panels have a 2 inch locking fold to receive the bottom of the next shingle. ◊Transverse seams are staggered in mid shingle. Flat seam copper 16 & 20 oz. roofing panels   Flat seam copper roofing panels are suitable for roofs of 3/12 pitch or smaller. Each panel interlocks with other panels on all four sides to cover the surface of the roof deck. The edges of the panels should be pretinned by dipping in order to ensure a thoroughly solder filled joint. All seams must then be tamped flat and soldered in order to seal the flat copper roof system. ACR can pretin your order before shipping. The amazing screw down copper roof! This unique invention from Affordable Copper Roofing offers incredible ease of installation. If you can read a tape measure and opperate a cordless drill, you can install this roof! Each roof is constructed of ¼ inch plywood and solid  wood battens. The panels sit between the battens and are clipped together. All it takes for installation is lifting the unit onto the roof deck, screwing through the battens' pre-drilled holes and sliding copper caps over the battens then crimping  the batten caps tigthly. In one afternoon, you could have a new copper accent roof!   Please note: This roof application is only suitable for small accent roof surfaces, or straight, flat entryways or bays. Check out examples of  proper applications here. How to calculate your order: All screw down roofs are custom priced. Simply send us the perimeter measurements (from drip edge to drip edge) of your roof surface along with your order.   Please Note: the screw down roof is  best suited for small accent shed style roofs-where the roof is square, rectangular , or gabled with no hips or valleys.The run from outside edge to wall or ridge should be 48 inches or less for ease of installation and to keep shipping costs low. These roofs are precisely engineered to cut installation time to 1-4 hours.     Once the order is placed and payment received, the drip edges will be shipped out to you within a few days to be installed on the new subdeck or existing. They must be in place around the perimeter in order to get an accurate measurement for a perfect fit.
